The Sales Support Representative (SSR) provides support to the Wholesale/Correspondent and Preferred Correspondent Sales Team(s). This support includes, but is not limited to internal support and training of new hire Sales Executives, onboarding of new Correspondent Clients as well as Marketing Support. This position is accountable for promoting teamwork throughout the department as well as work toward better procedure for the team/department.
? Assist Sales with processing new Seller Applications and Lender Management process by reviewing completeness, working with prospects for additional information through the application and approval process and ongoing quality and recertifications.
? Assisting in preparation/coordination with Marketing for Sales Training Calls, Conferences, etc.
? Training: scheduling, coordinating, leading and follow-up of orientation and training calls.
? Participates in the writing of announcements, bulletins, client communications, etc.
? Develops and maintains the Seller Guides.
? Provides LDC/Imaging support for AE?s and clients.
? Provides support and follow up on appraisals as it relates to Real EC.
? Actively participates in system enhancements and UAT testing.
? Responsible for updating postings to the resource center on the WHSL/CORR and Preferred CORR websites.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Requirements)
? Knowledge of the mortgage banking, Wholesale and Correspondent lending process.
? Knowledge of the loan programs, underwriting guidelines, processing and QC requirements.
? Must be able to effectively communicate and present information verbally and in written correspondence.
Training and Experience
? 3 years mortgage banking experience in a Wholesale or Correspondent environment.
? College degree preferred
? 3 ? 5 years of sales, marketing and/or customer service experience.
? Strong people and problem solving skills
