Role: Wholesale Marketing Manager - Pleasanton, CA
This critical member of the Wholesale Marketing team will help drive revenue for the Wholesale business unit of MegaPath. Working closely with Marketing and Sales executives, this individual will drive partner engagement and understanding and will empower Sales through formal tools to achieve quota.
Major Responsibilities:
Works with VP of Wholesale Marketing and other departments to drive Sales through tools, training and direct Partner communications
Develops/ tailors communications to support product launches, changes to services and key company updates critical to business performance
Develops bulletins announcing benefits and functionality of new products working with Product Marketing
Develops bulletins announcing changes to existing services working with Product Marketing or Network Engineering
Develops all communications that will drive greater awareness of capabilities and interest from Wholesale partner community
Manages Wholesale Partner Program
Development of key metrics of performance
Tracking of partners against those key metrics, reporting out to Executives
Management of award distribution
Empowers the Sales team
Develops/ maintains key non-pricing related Sales tools
Coordinate Sales training sessions
Job Requirements :
Specialized Knowledge/ Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
8+ years working experience with channel marketing experience selling technology solutions through VAR Partners
Ability to liaise with partners at all levels
Must possess clear communication skills, marrying business benefit with technical functionality
Success factors include: individual initiative, professionalism, and excellent writing skills
Experience with Salesforce.com and publishing tools a plus
