Wi-Fi Guru Carrier to become Technical Instructor Ruckus Wireless
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Ruckus seeks a true Wi-Fi expert to become an outstanding technical instructor. We will develop the successful candidate to become our Carrier-focused Instructor/Course Developer, initially focusing on Ruckus? Smart Cell Gateway product. This person will have experience-in-and-enjoy-making technical presentations to other Wi-Fi engineers, and will have created such presentations. Candidate will enjoy sharing their technical mastery and enabling other Wi-Fi engineers to be successful. Will possess strong communication and presentation skills and a ?can-do? attitude.
You bring your Wi-Fi expertise and passion, and some presentation experience, and we?ll develop you into world-class instructor and technical training developer.
Specific to this role, the successful candidate will possess the below knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Thorough technical understanding of data networking across both wired and Wi-Fi environments.
Minimum of 5 years practical experience in data networking
Must possess CWNA certification or display clearly equivalent technical proficiency through prior positions and accomplishments.
Professional level data networking certification, e.g. CCNP, JNCIP, etc?, with preference given to applicants with Expert level certification.
Demonstrated understanding of service provider data networks, with a preference given to applicants with deep knowledge of Mobile Network Operator (MNO) environments
UTRAN and eUTRAN architectures, components and interfaces
3G Core and EPC architectures, components and interfaces
OSS/BSS services, functions and protocols
Familiarity with Multiple System Operator (MSO) environments
Previous work experience that required periodic presenting of technical information in a one-to-many delivery. Examples would include: technical trainer, systems engineer, technical marketing engineer, etc?
Other Wi-Fi technical requirements include:
Expert knowledge of wireless networking fundamentals and 802.11 RF technology
Proven and demonstrable analytical skills in the area of wireless and/or wired networking technologies
Experience with major wireless designs and operations
Knowledge of Wi-Fi survey, diagnostic, and troubleshooting software. Proficient in tools such as spectrum analyzers, WireShark, AirMagnet tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical individuals
Able to function as an internal consultant to Director of Training, others.
Must be passionate, creative, driven, responsible, flexible.
Ability to travel as much as 50% of time globally.
