Overview:We are seeking a qualified and experienced West Coast-based Wi-FI and routing networking training professional to roam the globe and spread the knowledge! Join the fastest growing Wi-Fi company to provide instruction to experienced IT professionals on a weekly basis. The curriculum consists of configuration and integration of Aerohive's cutting-edge cooperative control WLAN architecture.
Responsibilities:
Teach Aerohive Wi-Fi Networking and routing classes ? basic and advanced training sessions.
Train Aerohive customers and partners in both open enrollment and private classes.
Assist Global Training Manager in daily operations, including maintenance of student registration and certification databases.
Work with Knowledge Services Department to help develop courseware and other instructional material.
50 - 75% travel required ? mostly US with some international.
Qualifications:
5 years or more of IT networking experience (and demonstrated proficiency with wired networks and protocols: TCP/IP, ports, VLAN?s, 802.1X, and firewalls).
2 years or more Wi-Fi experience (basic understanding of radio frequency (RF) and 802.11 WLAN protocols).
2 years or more IT training experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficient with online presentation and training services (eg GotoMeeting).
Proficient with Apple products: iPhone, iPad and MacBook.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
