Position Description: Provide the Technical expertise to develop, validate and document Nordic Windpower Products. Understand and apply Electrical Engineering Principles and Tools to define key designs, validate the design and certify the design. Designs shall
be compliant with product specifications and be delivered such that the product is differentiated in cost and performance.
Conducting work to a work plan schedule and budget while communicating weekly progress thru the Nordic Windpower Program
Manager is a key requirement to meet cost and schedule. Be proficient using ANSYS and other standard electrical design and system
interface tools is an essential skill. Work closely across the Nordic Windpower Engineering Design Team. Develop strong interface
with the Electrical, controls and the Russian Technical Leaders. Knowledge of grid interface, grid capacity evaluation, grid stability /
protection, electrical machine design, electrical drive interface and control, turbine capabilities, turbine control and electrical
collection is also essential and preferred. Strong documentation and presentation capability is highly desirable to support Design
Review presentation to Nordic Windpower Design Manager, CTO and Chief Engineer. Full documentation using Computer Aided
Design (CAD), such as SolidWorks and ElectraWorks as well as ANSYS is highly desirable. Documentation of full reports, design
review presentations and full bill of material for product procurement and configuration control will use the web based
collaboration tool Arena.
