Description:Summary
This at-will position provides operational support for Enterprise Windows servers, application systems, and virtualization environments. Will install, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows servers and Microsoft enterprise products. Will investigate, recommend, and implement new Windows server technologies. Will also provide in house technical support as well as contribute expertise and ideas for future technology needs. Adheres to company mission and values.
Job Duties
Essential -
? Support Enterprise Windows server 2008 R2 and Windows server 2003 system and application servers and active directory environment
? Responds to Windows Server, Windows Server applications (Exchange, DNS, DHCP, File / Print, SCCM / SMS, etc.) and Active Directory issues and maintenance calls
? Assist in the operation, design, implementation, and upgrades Windows servers and Windows server enterprise systems
? Resolve Windows Server and Windows server applications problems (debug issues) and client connectivity to servers and/or applications
? Performs installations of Windows Sever OS and Windows server enterprise systems along with software upgrades and patches
? Develop, configure and maintain server and system backup and recovery plans
? Deploy and configure server monitoring environment
? Assist in designing and performance tuning Windows server enterprise systems
? Required to work some weekends, evenings, and nights as well as be available for ?on-call? support
? Other projects as assigned by management
? Assist helpdesk in resolving Windows Server, Windows Server applications, and client computer issue
Non-essential -
? Perform equipment moves
? Design Windows server and Windows server application prototypes and assist with architecture standards
? Resolve client?s PC equipment failures and hardware related problems
Requirements
Skills:
Essential -
? Advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability to manage and maintain enterprise Windows server environment
? Advanced knowledge of MS Windows Server Operating Systems (Server 2003, and Server 2008 R2)
? Advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability to manage Active Directory deployed across a WAN
? Working experience with windows scripting using PowerShell
? Ability to troubleshoot problems and take swift corrective action
? Ability handle all job duties with minimal supervisions or coaching
? Strong project management skills
? Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees
? Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project time lines
Non Essential -
? Experience with Forefront Identity Manager and writing custom management agents
? Knowledge of C# .Net programming
? SQL, TSQL, and DBA experience
Experience & Education:
? BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or equivalent experience
? 3-5 years industry experience
? Experience supporting enterprise Windows Server environment, Active Directory, and at least two of the following Windows enterprise systems: Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, SCOM, and SCCM. This experience includes but not limited to installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.

? Ability to self learn new technologies and how to apply them in solving business requirements Must be able to work in a standard office environment and be able to use basic office equipment
? Must be able to lift 40-60lbs
