About the Position:
The Worldwide Revenue Manager will report to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for:
All finance aspects of Revenue Recognition, Accounting and Cost of Revenue on a worldwide basis according to US GAAP
Revenue forecasting and margin analysis
Reviewing terms and conditions of incoming Sales Contracts and manage the order processing in the ERP system
Managing customer billing for product, service, and training
Accounts receivable, collections, and coordination with sales/service on follow up and resolution of receivables, bad debt reserves
Maintaining deferred revenue contracts and amortization
Maintaining backlog information
Completing month and year-end close tasks
Interfacing with external auditors regarding revenue issues
Providing financial review of product pricing and costing
Supporting technical revenue requirements of subsidiaries and branches
Implementation of business policies, processes and systems, and associated documentation related to revenue and cost of sales
Education Requirements: B S in Accounting or Business. MBA/CPA preferred.
Experience required:
Progressive career that includes significant accounting and revenue management experience pertaining to revenue recognition, forecasting and order management.
Key skills we are seeking are:
Solid understanding and application of US GAAP revenue recognition rules (software revenue recognition, multiple deliverable revenue arrangements, revenue arrangements that include software as a deliverable and allocation based on estimated selling prices).
Ability to support the Corporate Controller on all aspects of revenue accounting and providing the necessary documentation for external audits.
International accounting and coordination/consolidation experience.
Detail-oriented, dependable and organized with a ?can do attitude
Willing to do whatever it takes to help the department run smoothly and efficiently
Knowledge and experience of ERP processes and systems and data mining.
High level of competency in reporting, analysis and presentations.
Salary depending on experience. The compensation package will include stock options, health, dental, vision, life insurance, long & short term disability, 401k, a Section 125 plan and stock options.
