These are very exciting times. The marketplace is buzzing with news about gesture driven TV control and body controlled gaming interfaces. We believe this is only the beginning of a major shift. We believe next generation interfaces will create massive changes in the way we interact not only with computers but also with each other.
Today we are developing solutions for a professional market which requires precision beyond gesture recognition. Systems that require real-time responses measured in hundreds of frames per second and cover large areas with many subjects. We focus our effort on precisely quantifying human motion measured in millimeters rather than simple gestures. We are focusing on measuring angles within a degree or better with repeatable consistency.
We take a hardware agnostic point of view. Today we use a multitude of standard video cameras attached to a single computer to track as many as nine people in a room. We are always exploring and testing new hardware as it becomes available and we continue to adapt our software to the benefit of our clients.
As an R&D driven firm tackling some of the most difficult problems in computer vision, we are in it for the long haul taking a practical real-time approach to bringing research innovation to the marketplace.
