Responsibilities:Development, execution and documentation of test cases for testing Cyber intrusions and attacks.
Interface with development and engineering support groups to provide test status, problem finding, replication results and problem solutions.
Provide Internal and Cloud based Network security assessment and auditing.
Should possess a strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems.
Strong experience with acceptance/usability testing.
Bachelors degree in a related field plus nine (9) years of current Test and Evaluation Engineering.
Certifications: GPEN, CEH, VMware VCP or VCAP are highly desired
Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP/UDP, HTTP, routing, packet inspection and Cyber attacks
Experience with testing with Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Nikto, Wireshark or similar tools
Multiple OS knowledge (Windows, Linux and Mac) and executing in virtual environments
In depth understanding of security in enterprise environments, Security Threat Assessment including operational activities involving risk analysis of the various major components of the Network Enterprise such as Websites, Databases, Network Traffic anomalies, malware and vulnerability analysis.
Proven skills in Intrusion Prevention, Incident Response, Information Assurance and data loss prevention are required.
Strong experience with acceptance/usability testingGood communication, verbal and technical writing skills
Understanding of enterprise storage (Netapp, EMC, HP, Nexsan, etc.)
Working knowledge of telecommunications, including cellular networks and computer networks as well as wi-fi
Basic routing and switching, firewalls and network controls
Conversant in cyber security platforms (technology and deployment methodologies) such as Juniper, Arbor Networks, Cloudshield or equivalent solutions.
Medium to advanced understanding of IDS/IPS and Snort
Solid understanding of Networking design tools and the use of MS - Excel, Omnigraffle/Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
VMware experience and testing in a virtual environment recommended.
