Reprocessed and remanufactured single-use medical devices are FDA approved and are equivalent to an original manufacturers device with the benefit of a cost reduction of as much as 50 for our partnering hospitals. By working with Ascent Healthcare Solutions, you will not only be on the front lines of a dynamic medical devices sales force, but will be part of an industry leading the charge toward a more sustainable and responsible approach to medical supply procurement and disposition.
As an ASR, your primary responsibility is to manage and monitor the collection of devices in each hospital in your assigned territory while building relationships within the account to promote growth and ensure operational success of their existing programs. This includes picking up, packaging and shipping the used devices from the hospital to our processing facilities, managing supply chain activities and working with facility contacts to identify additional opportunity for savings within the hospital or hospital system.
In addition to packaging and shipping the containers, you will be responsible for every aspect of the order process as follows:
-Work with Materials Management/ Purchasing department to attain purchase orders for customer product that has been reprocessed
-Assist customers with inventory management.
-Provide in in-service training and education to facility staff members when required.
-Work with your field leadership team to secure and implement new business within the territory.
All work is done inside hospitals and you will work closely with various healthcare facility departments (Operating Room, Central Supply, Nursing, Environmental services, Physicians, Surgeons, C-suite) and other end users of these single-use medical devices to maintain and increase program participation.
TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ANSWER YES TO THE FOLLOWING:
-Have a proven background in outside business to business sales / service NO RETAIL.
-Be willing and able to drive up to 100 miles per day, 5 days a week using your personal vehicle.
-Demonstrate intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
-Be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds easily on a daily basis.
-Have a valid drivers license and auto insurance.
-Work independently with no supervision.
-Pass a background check and drug screen.
-Annual Base/Commission combined: 55,000 negotiable based on experience.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
-Professional business/sales experience
-Medical device sales experience is a plus
-College degree preferred and/or 1-3 years of equivalent experience
