| Description: | The Documentation Control Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining all items, manufacturing information, supporting files, Bills-of-Materials (BOMs) in the Agile PLM and Oracle ERP systems. The Documentation Control Analyst will perform diversified tasks to initiate, change and control BOM records to ensure integrity into the ERP database. Skills Required: Implements/ maintains Engineering Change Orders, Requests, Manufacturing Change Orders and Deviations. Ensures accuracy of BOM, drawing files, design packages, product documents and manufacturing instructions. Proficiency with a scripting language such as Python, PHP or LabVIEW is a plus . Works closely with Engineering to ensure the accuracy of engineering change order (ECO) submissions to minimize processing time between submission and implementation, optimizing department throughput. Manages manufacturing data transfer of information to suppliers and Contract Manufacturer?s. Assess and manage procedure changes for compliance to quality, regulatory and business standards. Communicate changes made to associated documentation to all affected parties. Manage ECO process and lead Change Control Board; includes tracking change implementation and completion of associated deliverables in a timely manner. Establish and Maintaining document control tracking procedure. Work closely with other Trimble Change Analysts to drive accuracy of process and policies within Trimble Navigation. Implements/trains new processes and policies within Thingmagic division. Ability to interpret and analyze diverse submissions and assess compliance to standards utilizing independent judgment consistently and appropriately. Customer driven with sense of urgency/priority in responding to customers' needs (internal and external). Must be detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Experience and Education: BS Degree and/or 3-5 years of related work experience. Technical discipline preferred. 3 year Minimum working experience in Documentation Control, in NPI environments. ERP experience (Oracle ERP r11 or r12 preferred; SAP, Baan, et al. considered). PLM experience (Agile 9.3,a must ; Arena, a plus. Experience in MS Office applications, with strong Excel skills. Team player with ability to collaborate globally toward standardized processes and policies. |
