Department: Corporate Supply Chain
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
As Global Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for implementing standards, processes, reporting, focusing on logistics, supplier quality and cost reduction within the company.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The appropriate candidate will do the following:
Strategic alignment of Supply Chain annual objectives and plans to improve the Global business as a whole and the strategic management of the Global Approved Vendors List (including the development of shared objectives and alignment to strategic purchasing, materials and commercial and corporate objectives).
Identify and develop potential new suppliers that would strategically benefit the supply chain.
Evaluate the capabilities of proposed new suppliers in conjunction with key business stakeholders in the internal Supply Chain with the responsibility for approving or rejecting for use.
Initiate agreements for key commodities including compilation of the scope, evaluating submissions, negotiating costs and award.
Negotiate cost reductions, promote agreements and develop/monitor Key Performance Indicators (?KPI?s?).
Monitor and measure supplier performance, improve strategies and analysis of data.
Develop process improvements to the internal supply chain, including better utilization of systems.
Define and standardize our global purchasing organization
Development and implementation of sourcing strategies and building and developing a high performance organization
Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Supply Chain Management or related field.
Candidates should possess at least 15 years of experience in purchasing/supply chain with a focus in global contract negotiations: Multi-national interfaces, Supply chain management and/or Supplier quality systems.
At least 8-10 year work experience of which should have been at a global management role in onshore/offshore oil & Gas. Previous management experience at a global organization will be an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good working knowledge in all facets of Logistics, Procurement, Warehousing, Contracts, and Supply Chain Management in general.
Ability to effectively present information to top management
Demonstrate ability and skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
Proven track record of working in region team around the globe and virtual teams across multiple disciplines.
Ability to build the strategy and delivery teams and to achieve business goals.
Demonstrate drive and determination to achieve success while being a self-motivator who sets clear direction and priorities.
A good understanding of local content administration in company projects is a requirement
Good written/spoken communication skills
Must be technology-enabled (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
Professional and ethical behavior
Must manage time efficiently and effectively
