As a member of the Partnership Solutions Team, the Account Executive is a full-time position responsible for building and maintaining client relationships with regional and national reward and advertising partners, and managing reporting and administrative tasks to support the Partnership Solutions Team. This position serves as liaison between the clients and all other functional teams within Recyclebank (Data, Insights, Rewards, Marketing, and Product) to ensure that all aspects of the Client/Partner relationship are effectively managed and executed.
Manage local and national Tier 2 and 3 partners including:
Partnership set up
Create a tracking system for contacts, contracts & partner notes
Work with Rewards Director & Sr. Account Mgr. to create a plan for servicing Tier 1, 2 & 3 partners
Provide Local partners with Welcome Kits
Create system for quarterly communication with local partners (e.g. newsletter)
Assist Sales Team in expanding and upselling existing partners using knowledge of partnership and reward performance
Alert Local Sales Team to opportunities & concerns with any partners so they can manage accordingly
Work with Community Marketing Team to select & promote partners in local direct marketing materials (mailers, postcards, events, emails, etc)
Own monthly & quarterly templated reporting dashboards for all Account Management partners ? Local, National & UK
Manage all inbound partner emails & work with rewards operations and customer care to resolve any issues
Work with Account Management team to increase efficiencies, tracking progress of partnerships
Develop career plan for advancement to managing larger, revenue-generating partners
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent oral and written communications including making effective and persuasive speeches and presentations.
Experience in account management function, independently managing multiple clients
Excellent interpersonal skills: interacting effectively with people of diverse levels and backgrounds.
Excellent organizational and time management skills: prioritizing and addressing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience analyzing data and solving problems resulting in effective business decisions.
Strong customer service orientation.
Self-motivation and an ability to work independently with little supervision.
Entrepreneurially inclined and desire to work in a start-up environment.
Flexible and adapt well to a constantly changing environment.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Willing to travel throughout the South
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1-2 years Account Management/Client Service experience
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and take on new responsibilities
Fast learner, comfortable working independently
Knowledge of digital marketing / advertising sales
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
A strong desire to be part of a fast-growing, mission-based organization
