HowAboutWe for Couples helps couples have wonderful experiences together. Members choose from our curated collection of one-of-a-kind experiences for two; we take care of all the booking. It?s the must-have membership for the modern couple.
The Date Report provides engaging, entertaining and enlightening content about dating and relationships.
We are looking for an outgoing, talented and strategic individual to drive our local sales and partnership efforts for HowAboutWe for Couples. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing, venture-backed startup and be an integral part of the launch of a new market for this exciting product. HowAboutWe is looking for an Account Executive that will drive sales and partnership efforts to imagine, find and secure unique, premium dates for our Couples product. You would be responsible for building out an extensive set of partnerships with Seattle?s top local experience vendors (e.g. restaurants, cultural venues, activity providers), and crafting unique and memorable dating experiences with these vendors to be offered to Couples customers. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an emerging team at a startup with immense growth opportunities.
Find and reach out to top-tier local experience providers and craft unique experiences that will perform well among the HowAboutWe customer base Consistently secure on brand date packages with favorable margins Maintain strong ongoing relationships with our experience vendors Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
Who We?re Looking For
You have a persistent, ?shark? personality combined with polish, poise and a team-player attitude
You have a proven track record of success in strategic and analytical selling.
You see ?no? as a welcome challenge, not a final answer.
You bring with you a rolodex of top-tier vendor and partner relationships.
You are excited to work with the HowAboutWe team to build a company that transforms the way people find and sustain love online and offline.
You have off-the-charts ambition, are willing to take risks, and are motivated by the fast paced, ever-changing entrepreneurial world.
You are a highly analytical thinker, have tremendous communication and people skills and are comfortable shifting back and forth between ?pitch mode? and ?deep dive analysis mode.?
You do an exceptional job on any and all tasks, are highly organized, and detail-oriented. You are self-motivated and can manage multiple workflows and prioritize your own time.
2 to 5 years of experience in Sales or New Business Development
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Significant exposure to internet and e-commerce products
Experience with SalesForce.com or other CRM tool preferred
Experience working remotely preferred
Understanding of the ?local experience? space
