As an Account Manager, you will work with premier multi-channel retail companies to manage existing client relationships, evaluate client needs, recommend Datalogix products and conduct assessments of client marketing results. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and learning the specifics of their direct and digital marketing plans and performance measures. You will use that information to build targeted recommendations to clients, making visits nationally to deliver product presentations.
We are searching for ambitious, entrepreneurial individuals with strong skills in customer service, consultative selling, and financial planning and analysis. Direct and digital marketing experience is required.
Skills and Qualifications:
5 - 10 years experience in marketing services sales, preferably direct marketing databases and/or digital advertising.
Ability to evaluate direct and digital marketing campaigns, analyze reports, evaluate sales trends and recommend Datalogix products to improve client sales performance.
Solid knowledge of large databases, database reporting, and marketing analytics.
Proven track record of successful and increasing sales to marketers.
Ability to identify new opportunities and close new business.
Good ?boardroom presence?; proven abilities to establish relationships with senior client decision makers and successfully negotiate with them.
Able to travel up to 50%.
BS or BA degree; MBA a plus.
