The AppDynamics Center of Excellence (ACE) enables customers to achieve Operational Excellence. The Center of Excellence creates and promotes best practices, user communities, usage strategies and technologies to maximize the value of AppDynamics to customers through greater adoption.
An ACE Architect is a unique position that serves the largest of customers, the latest innovative approaches to product usage, and the key ACE goal of driving adoption. The ACE Architect will work on strategic projects to architect new innovative solutions to enable customers to achieve Operational Excellence with their mission critical applications. This person will also take charge of a handful of our top customers to ensure they have access to someone of your caliber. Finally the ACE architect will take charge of defining and product adoption strategy at AppDynamics to ensure the product is uses to its full potential. This is a very exciting position that requires passion for customers, products and the market space we are in.
Develop Best Practices based on field experience
Thinking out of the box: Build, document and integrate new and advanced use cases for AppDynamics (e.g. Active Monitoring, predefined dashboards and customizations)
Define Process and build customizations to integrate/rollout AppDynamics in the application and process lifecycle
Improve measurement of adoption: develop new metrics and track success
Help enable Technical Account Managers to drive adoption at large customer accounts
Work closely with Technical Account Managers at very large customer sites to ensure successful deployment and adoption
Ramp up and coach new Technical Account Managers
Drive customer's feature requests and hot bugs with Product Management and engineering
Work with Sales to successfully manage account at both business and technical levels.
Support key customers to define and align their strategic goals and mile stones using AppDynamics
Collaboration with the AppDynamics user community
8+ years of experience working on distributed enterprise software products
3+ years of experience in customer-facing positions as a professional services consultant or sales engineer
B.S./B.A. degree required; M.S. degree or equivalent work industry experience preferred
Strong knowledge of J2EE or .Net frameworks like Struts, Servlets, Spring, EJB, Hibernate, .Net 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0
Working knowledge of SQL Databases
Experience in scripting and automation is a big plus
Proven analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Strong project management skills
Works well under pressure especially with customers
Some travel required
