Ad Operations Manager Yelp
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Ad Operations Manager at Yelp is responsible for managing and scaling advertising fulfillment for our growing base of national customers. The National ad operations team is responsible for Yelp?s multi-location advertising order fulfillment including vetting client/location data, creating ad set-ups and conducting post set-up quality checks. In this role, you will drive process efficiencies and improvements, define workflow policies and manage to end to end operational metrics. Responsibilities include:
Set team priorities and identify ways to drive operational efficiency with respect to fulfillment of national advertisements
Troubleshoot and resolve all internal issues associated with ad campaign set-up
Define, document and monitor process and policy improvements. Establish KPIs and manage to those KPIs successfully.
Hire and coach a team of detail oriented and process minded associates
Drive process, policy and system improvements that result in timely, accurate and cost effective order fulfillment
The ideal candidate will possess:
Operational management mindset with the ability to manage a team 8 or more individual contributors
Excellent decision making skills with an awareness of when to resolve issues and when to escalate
A self-starter and proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement in a fast paced dynamic environment.
Strong background in process improvement with the ability to assess and resolve process, system, policy and training inefficiencies.
Strong project management experience and experience with CRM technology like Salesforce.com
Exceptional communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively via email to all levels of sales and sales management.
5 plus years in an operational role whereby you successfully led change management efforts to improve process efficiencies, quality of deliverable and service level commitments while developing individual contributors
Experience serving as the primary subject matter expert in the area of online ad set-ups
Proven success with working with all levels of the organization and building good working relationships and possess the ability to influence sales stakeholders, finance and HR.
Adaptable and comfortable shifting between high-level design work and hands-on analytics required to evaluate and improve process deficiencies
Must be extremely well organized, accurate and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
