Reporting to the Vice President, General Manager for the Americas, the Area Vice President, Sales is responsible for meeting and exceeding the sales target for their assigned region on a consistent basis.
Responsible for developing a sales strategy and providing an annual sales plan for their assigned region
Coordinate and manage all sales pipeline activities and lead generation using established processes and CRM tools (salesforce.com)
Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop sales executives and manage the overall sales process in the region
Ensure sales executives are held accountable to their revenue goals and assist them in reaching those goals
Direct and coach sales executives to penetrate and develop key accounts represented in each market
Conduct joint calls with sales executives to support them and ensure they meet their assigned quota
Build and maintain a strong individual pipeline via prospecting at the executive level
Sell $500K - $5M deals to senior executives in Global 2000.
Initiate, develop and maintain executive level relationships and drive sales activities with key customers throughout North America
Understand target customer?s business needs, develop proposals and accurately articulate E2open?s value proposition at the executive level
Provide customer feedback to the product management and marketing teams
Bachelor's degree required; MBA degree or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 10 years' experience in software application solution sales in manufacturing, operations and supply-chain solutions
Minimum 5 years sales management experience
Strong negotiating skills and capacity to work with executives of Fortune 500 companies
Experience selling complex business solutions to a technology oriented audience within the manufacturing and technology sectors
Capable of multi-tasking multiple customers at different stages towards closing revenue opportunities
Has developed and executed tactical sales plans including account plans and objectives
Is highly organized and has effective time management skills
Outstanding communication, presentation, organizational and negotiating skills
Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com
Solution sales experience is a requirement
