Audience Development Coordinator, YouTube Revision3
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Position Description: Revision3, the leading special interest video network, is looking for an Audience Development Coordinator for YouTube Optimization. This position is tasked with growing audience size, engagement and reach across Revision3's channels on YouTube.
The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter capable of taking both individual initiative and direction from managers. He/She is a web-video pro with proven ability to grow views, engagement and subscribers by optimizing every aspect of the video consumption and discovery experience (this means you need to know a LOT about how YouTube works). This position will execute according to a digital media strategy that factors in parallel efforts to engage the audience via social media and other points of distribution in the network. In addition the ideal candidate needs to be able to think conceptually and strategically, but also be willing to roll up his/her sleeves and execute on a self-starting basis.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Provide tactical, hands-on oversight of distribution channels for online video to ensure that no opportunity is missed in the optimization of that experience-grow views!
Work with Audience Development team to design, develop and implement SEO, SEM, YouTube and other Optimization models to be used on a daily basis across multiple shows and channels
Assist in the development, coordination and management of cross-promotion programs with other sites, talent, franchises and shows
Facilitate both tactical and high-level communication with internal partners (Programming, Production, Development, Marketing, Social Media) to insure the various teams are on the same page and delivering as agreed
Provide regular reporting based on audience size and engagement metrics to measure growth and inform ongoing strategy shifts
Coordinate new channel launches
Quality-assurance (QA) of published videos to insure quality of metadata, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, links, etc.
Gathering and coordination of regular YouTube metrics reports
As-needed assistance with any other aspect of YouTube publishing
Keep track of all YouTube news and new features in order to educate shows on best practices
1-3 years experience in digital media, preferably in a client-side digital content business.
A superstar with demonstrated success in cost-effectively increasing traffic to digital properties.
Extremely knowledgeable and proven experience in the use of Social Media, Social Network and Blogs for the distribution of digital medial content.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to balance creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
