This position will be responsible for performing business/data analysis, technical specification documentation, report development/delivery and support of all internal and external projects, including metrics management.
oBachelor?s Degree in Business Management or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, or Characteristics
o3-5 years of related work experience, understand and possess the ability to apply project lifecycle methodology.
oExperience defining software requirements, writing use cases, functional specifications and enhancement requests, and creating prototypes.
oStrong analytical background.
oExperience with multiple platforms; including mainframe and client/server.
oExcellent verbal and written communication skill, including strong questioning and listening skills; ability to look beyond obvious answers, and understand the impact on other areas is required.
Helpful / Preferred
oProfessional Registration and/or Master?s degree.
oExperienced with MS Office, Visio, Visual Basic, SQL, and Linux environment preferred.
Functions and Responsibilities (?in addition to other duties as assigned)
1.Collecting, understanding and the business requirements for the project and translating into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
2.Partnering with clients to gather all requirements to formulate business specifications,
translating those into application functionality arriving at a mutually acceptable solution.
3.Assists the technical team in translating application functionality into application
architecture and the production of a System Functionality document.
4.Designs and executes test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional
specifications are tested and fulfilled.
5.Documenting requirements and technical specifications from results of business analysis and obtaining agreement on specifications.
6.Communicates business directives, goals and needs to the technical teams; serving as
client interface managing user expectations and client satisfaction.
7.Understands the long-term business objectives and suggest technical strategies to meet
those objectives; introduces innovation to business process through technology.
8.Applies knowledge of system capacity to determine feasibility of projects. Maintains current knowledge of new hardware/software and recommends upgrades to maintain efficient operation. Schedules/assigns work to programmers.
9.Assists client in developing content or other materials; recommending enhancements and identifying new business requirements.
10.Assist sales with technical aspects of the products in finding needs that our product solutions can fill.
11.Documents workflows and results of business analyst and obtains sign-off from client on specifications.
12.Assess customer satisfaction levels and ongoing quality assurance measures.
