The Global Product Support capability provides day-to-day functional and technical support to clients across the globe, 24 x 7 x 365.
The Global Product Support Business Process Analyst, based in Santa Monica, USA, will be responsible for the ongoing optimization of processes and technologies used by the Global Product Support organization. The Business Process Analyst will be required to analyze data, identify business process bottlenecks, identify opportunities for process and/or systems changes, test and implement new solutions, and contribute to maintaining those processes and systems. The Business Process Analyst shall also support corporate and operations strategy initiatives on an as-needed basis.
The Business Process Analyst position requires a talented individual who excels in data and situational analysis, operations management, customer service and exercising influence without using direct control. There will be significant need to ensure that solutions are optimized for processes across all Global Product Support service pods. An ideal candidate will have experience in working with cross-functional teams on business issues and have familiarity with analytical techniques and tools. This candidate will be expected to work independently and in collaboration with other functions at Cornerstone.
While based in Santa Monica, this role will provide support to the Global Product Support organization across all Global Product Support service pods. This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Global Product Support - Americas based in Santa Monica.
Gain an understanding of the Cornerstone OnDemand application and technical/ software architecture to appreciate how the application is used by clients
Gain a deep understanding of processes that are core to Global Product Support that impact Cornerstone OnDemand?s ability to support a client. This will involve an understanding of relevant cross-functional processes and systems
Collect, analyze and interpret data, which may include client information, to identify trends and opportunities to improve processes for support delivery
Continuously help identify factors that drive client business needs and incorporate them into internal Global Product Support processes
Enable internal communication flows across teams on Global Product Support processes, to allow for timely follow-up by various teams (e.g., Implementation, Account Management, Finance)
Continuously identify internal workflow improvements to Global Product Support processes and take appropriate action to roll out changes across multiple teams. This includes facilitating change management, documenting the approach and ensuring global compliance to these procedures and practices
Provide data and regularly report metrics to management about Global Product Support on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis
Complete other analytical duties as needed
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, or other relevant degrees
1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Sound troubleshooting and problem-analysis skills, across people, process and technology
Proven track record of achieving results through collaborating with multiple functions across a company
Ability to innovate in a fast-growing work environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Experience with organizational transformations through empowering frontline staff
Demonstrated comfort working with technology; SaaS experience preferred
Highly motivated self-starter who can grow the team and is passionate about the success of others
Strong professional etiquette and ability to provide support to clients, both internally and externally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages would be an advantage
