THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota for more than three decades, merged with Insight Imaging in 2012 to create one of the nation?s largest radiology providers for fixed site and mobile diagnostic imaging and interventional services. Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. Our organization will serve nearly a million patients in 2013, offering a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures that complement each community?s needs, in collaboration with radiologists, healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems.
This is a full-time position at the Corporate office in St. Louis Park, and this position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments, discounts, adjustments and refunds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Creates a positive experience for every customer, every day by believing in and practicing the CDI Experience
? Ensures that receipts, discounts and adjustments are accurately posted to patient accounts in a timely manner to meet department goals on a daily and monthly basis.
? Identifies and researches and issues refunds and/or makes journal entry adjustments on credit balance accounts when appropriate
? Identifies and researches uncashed refund checks and contacts payors or patients if necessary
? Ensures receipt batches balance and tie to bank deposits
? Closes out end of month on time by processing all receipts and journal entries

? High school degree or equivalent
? 1+ years medical business office experience or a graduate of a medical billing program required including knowledge of various payors and a understanding of contractual discounts
? Proficient in Microsoft Office and previous data entry experience required
? Ability to type 45 wpm
