This East Coast-based position is responsible for the sale of company products through distributors, retailers or other parties.
Establish, develop and maintain strong professional sales relationships with current and future Channel Partners.
Recruit new channel partners that are capable of promoting, selling and developing Tripwire Sales though profiling their skills and target markets.
Support and leverage other channel efforts, field marketing, product launches and product promotions as well as certifications and specializations.
Keep current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, applications, competition and disseminate to partners as appropriate.
Organize Channel Partner Sales & Technical Enablement Training classes and ensure that partners maintain and adhere to the requisite number of trained personnel both for Sales and Technical skills as per their reseller agreements.
Continued achievement of Channel Partner sales growth as per the defined Reseller Business Plan and formalized Sales Attainment targets.
Create and analyze sales reports, identify issues contributing to success or shortcomings and take any corrective action.
Coordinate co-selling activity and resolve channel conflict.
Perform business metrics reviews and analysis of each Channel Partner?s performance on a quarterly basis.
Establish and maintain positive & proactive relationships with partner sales reps/management to build mindshare and drive sales activity.
Create and execute reseller business plan focused on demand creation, sales growth, and partner sales development.
Aid in developing monthly and quarterly strategic initiatives that will result in increasing the Channel Partner monthly bookings.
Travel when necessary to partner events to represent Tripwire, and or present our solutions to both partners and end customers of partners.
Meet/Exceed Partner Sales Bookings/Revenue Goals.
Execution and accountability of Channel Partner growth
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of attributes, education and experience:
At least 5 years channel management or equivalent work experience
Good understanding of two tier sales model
Established relationships in the Technology Distribution/Reseller space
Experience training partners on selling and demonstrating software products
Strong software security / sales background
Excellent communication skills ? written and spoken
Ability to manage Channel conflict
Experience dealing at CXO level
