Competitive Intelligence Analyst Xoom
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We?re looking for a Competitive Intelligence Analyst to help us know more about competitors than we know about ourselves. Come on board our growing team of top-notch team of professionals, working out of our San Francisco office. This position reports to the Marketing Manager.
As the Competitive Intelligence Analyst, you will be the go-to-person for insights on the money transfer market, including sizing, share and competitor?s marketing strategies.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Own the monitoring and management of competitors? pricing strategies and trends, including fees and exchange rates.
Deliver useful, timely and accurate competitor creative and spend reports.
Support Territory teams in evaluating business impact of competitor activities
Lead efforts to identify and define Xoom?s total addressable market.
Generate timely market share reports and estimates for key markets.
Analyze other money transfer corridors to identify future opportunities Xoom.
Track competitor?s disbursement networks and service and channel offerings.
Understand each Xoom territory business model and marketing objectives.
Identify and develop benchmarking reports on other key competitive characteristics.
Team with Territory teams to define objectives of reporting and to identify sources for required data.
Lead improvements of current Intelligence reporting by working on enhancements with current vendors and tools or through identifying new tools.
Skill /Education requirements:
BS or similar experience plus demonstrated 3+ years in market research or marketing experience, ideally in the money transfer industry or financial services.
A keen analytical mind, be strong on reporting, detail, and accuracy.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience working with cross functional teams both within and between organizations.
Ability to be self directed, highly motivated and have fun while working hard in a startup environment.
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
Strong project management and customer relationship skills.
Spanish, Tagalog, or Hindi fluency a plus.
