The role: We?re searching for a dynamic Customer Solution Architect to serve as the customers? champion within Clearleap. The Customer Solution Architect is a cross-cutting role that will be responsible for driving compliance with customer functional and quality requirements for products, processes, and services across Clearleap?s product, engineering, QA, and operations groups. In this role, the Customer Solution Architect will have comprehensive responsibility for ensuring both the customers? and Clearleap?s functional and quality requirements are reliably met.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Act as the primary technical and quality representative to the external customer
Work with the customer and internal groups to determine how best to apply Clearleap?s platform and technology to meet customer business requirements
Continually improve customer valuation of the quality experienced with any Clearleap process, product, or service beginning with new process development and continuing from new product development through product end-of-life
Support successful new product ramps that achieve functional, quality, and SLA goals
Identify systematic issues and drive continuous improvement
Experience / Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and 3-10 years of experience providing customer solutions and quality support, or equivalent experience managing and supporting software in a production environment. Candidate must also be proficient in a distributed UNIX/Linux server environment, SQL databases, Java/Tomcat-based webapps, and XML, and have an expert understanding of software quality methodologies (from requirements through operations). Experience working with cable, telco, or content providers and experience with Cablelabs metadata and Video on Demand environments are also required. Candidate should also have an understanding of different video formats, including mezzanine, Cablelabs formats, and OTT streaming formats.
A solid understanding of test development, product engineering, and media operations is needed. The engineer must possess exceptional customer interface and problem solving skills, along with the ability to interface and build relationships with customer stakeholders and internal teams.
