The Delivery and Analytics Team is responsible for a critical component of edo?s value proposition. We provide pre-sales support and post-campaign analytics to our Ad Sales team. We are responsible for offer targeting to those cardholders most likely to redeem offers, offer optimization and the end-to-end campaign management process.
Job Responsibilities: Data Scientist, Delivery Analytics
Design and develop predictive mathematical and statistical models for the optimization of offer construct, offer targeting and offer delivery within edo?s advertising engine
Research new algorithms and methods for optimizing ads quality and revenue
Research new ways for modeling end-user behavior; modeling includes data collection, organization, advanced statistical analysis and predictive solutions, text and data mining
Extract patterns from large transaction and consumer behavior datasets and transform data into an informational advantage for decision support
Derive the metrics/KPI?s from which edo is benchmarking performance
5+ years ?real world? Big Data/Analytics experience; preferably in a start-up environment
Machine Learning experience; familiarity with R and Hadoop preferred
Experience in supervised and unsupervised learning
Experience in Bayesian techniques
Experience with sparse data/rare event modeling preferred
An advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, and is flexible and able to handle rapidly-changing scenarios; sees ?ambiguity? as an opportunity rather than a hurdle
A willingness to seek initiative, undertake self-development activities, and seeks increased responsibilities
