Desktone Level 3 Support Engineer Desktone
The Desktone Level 3 Support Engineer will be responsible for working directly with Desktone?s Service Provider Customers to provide technical support in areas such as installing, operating and maintaining the Desktone Desktops as a Service (DaaS) software platform.
Provide Level 3 support services to our Service Provider partners from 11 am EST to 8:00 pm EST to cover west coast partners
Troubleshoot and isolate issues encountered in the Desktone platform
Provide best practice guidance to partners on image optimization for the end-user desktops
Triage and prioritize support tickets
Escalate issues to engineering or operations resources
Contribute to ongoing documentation and help desk solutions for Partner knowledgebase
Analysis Desktone client and server log files
Provide Help Desk training as part of the new Service Provider enablement program
Answer customer questions regarding general Desktone requirements and functionality
Participate in a rotating on call schedule to provide off hours support for Priority 1 issues
Experience working in a start-up environment where you are asked to wear many different hats while being self motivated
Effective communicator experienced working directly with customers
Strong team player with a great attitude.
Experience with Linux server management/system administration
Experience with Windows desktop and server management/system administration
Remoting protocols RDP/PCOIP etc
Active Directory and GPO management
DHCP and DNS experience
Windows best practices
Active Directory configuration/LDAP
Understanding of network topologies/ architecture
Basic understanding of reading network traces
Understanding of writing simple SQL queries
Experience with desktop virtualization technology
Experience with VMware ESX(i)/vSphere
