-HowAboutwe Media creates engaging, entertaining and enlightening content about dating and relationships. The DateReport.com is our flagship property and we're launching three additional content verticals in the coming months.
-HowAboutWe for Couples helps couples have wonderful experiences together. Members choose from our curated collection of one-of-a-kind experiences for two; we take care of all the booking. It's the must-have membership for the modern couple.
We are seeking an experienced Digital Sales Account Manager to join our new media sales team. You will be responsible for working across HowAboutWe teams to support our sales and media planning effort. You will report directly to the VP for Media and Partnerships and will work alongside two sales executives.
Key responsibilities include:
Working with sales executives to build client decks and respond to RFPs
Building media plans based on client objectives and leveraging HowAboutWe's unique media inventory
Leading internal brainstorming on media package concepts across sales, editorial and other HowAboutWe teams
Coordinating with in-house designers to create marketing assets for use in pitch materials and also for green-lit campaigns
Coordinating with ad operations to successfully traffic campaigns
Managing post-campaign reporting
Who You Are:
You are excited to join a leading consumer internet startup and get in at the ground floor of our new media sales effort. You have:
2-4 years experience as an account manager at a digital media company/publisher
You are a self-starter and understand how to prioritize and manage your own time to meet deadlines
You are a team player, with a strong sense of ownership and a 'get things done' attitude
You are a critical thinker and know how to internalize client objectives as your own
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with DoubleClick DFP, DFA, Comscore Media Metrix, and Salesforce.com a plus
Knowledge of current trends in the online advertising industry
