SciQuest seeks top performing Sales Director to build and lead a sales team focused on capturing new logo mid-market accounts and expanding SciQuest product footprint with existing customers.

Manages a team of Client Base and Mid-Market Account Executives while developing and implementing sales strategies and tactical execution plans and programs for same.
Effectively manage direct reports to attain assigned sales objectives at an individual and team basis.
Recruit, hire, mentor, coach and otherwise manage sales team on a day-to-day basis consistent with company policies and team objectives.
Timely and accurate forecasting at the individual AE and team level.
Represent company and serve as strategic resource in sales to Client Base and Mid-Market accounts.
Provide input to senior management on market trends, competitive offers/offerings, client feedback, market needs/requirements, and other areas as requested.
Documented experience selling and closing multi-year technology/SaaS subscriptions to Fortune 2,500 accounts
A minimum of ten years of experience selling into the Commercial and/or Life Science sectors
Demonstrable CXX level credibility via the ability to construct and present a compelling and ROI driven business case
Bachelor?s degree required, MBA preferred
Responsible for maintaining SciQuest?s CRM and forecasting system in a timely and accurate manner while also ensuring such maintenance within his/her organization for the purposes of accurate reporting for use by management in forecasting and monitoring progress against goals
Proven success directly managing teams and achieving results in an enterprise environment
Understand how to establish and operate to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives
A minimum of three years of sales management experience, ideally in the technology or ERP business
Evidence of having thrived in a fast-paced, fast-growth and candid environment
Ability to coach and mentor direct reports
Ability to function independently as well as within a cross-functional team
Ability to build and present credible value propositions and represent the company at C-level meetings
World-class interpersonal, writing, communication and presentation skills
Maintain strong knowledge of SciQuest offerings and product roadmap
Superb staff and project management skills with a sterling reputation as a team player capable of working across functions and levels to deliver expected results
Domestic and, possibly, international travel is required. 50% average.
