THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota for more than three decades, joined with Insight Imaging in 2012 to create one of the nation?s largest radiology providers for fixed site and mobile diagnostic imaging and interventional services. Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. JOB SUMMARY: Provides strategic direction, planning and implementation of internal and external corporate communication activities. This includes but is not limited to internal communications systems, philosophies and processes; corporate and executive communications; public relations and crisis communications; and leadership of efforts related to communications, brand management and associate engagement. The Director ensures communications with and for our key stakeholders which are consistent with our vision and values, and contribute to the organization?s business goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Provide strategic communications counsel and support to members of the executive committee, corporate support leadership team, and market leadership team in an effort to build and protect our organizational values, culture, brands and vision
? With a cross-functional team, develop, lead and participate in the implementation of corporate communications efforts related to associate engagement and culture-building, including a potential associate communications audit and continued rollout related to The Experience
? Participate in the development and implementation of organizational brand standards and work with corporate and market team members to assure the standards are appropriately implemented
? Develop and implement an internal communications plan that encompasses strategies and tactics to inform and engage associates across the organization and affiliated partners nationally, fostering a similar culture and alignment with the organization?s values
? Develop corporate messaging and written communications tailored to strategic programs/events, organizational announcements, planning initiatives, and special projects
? Work with executive committee members on communications efforts in times of transition and crisis, beginning with the development of a crisis communications plan and process
? Evaluate the organization?s opportunities to leverage corporate public and community relations strategies and tactics, working with respective leaders to develop appropriate strategies and tactics
? Support market-level PR opportunities working with the Market teams, Regional Marketing Managers or Product Managers
? With members of the corporate marketing team, and cross-functional teams as appropriate, to assess and develop social media communications strategies and tactics; measure and report effectiveness to the leadership team
? Together with our legal team, assure that communications initiatives, tools and messaging meet legal and regulatory requirements / approvals
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED:
? Knowledge of a wide range of communications experience in disciplines that may include internal communications, corporate communications, public relations and crisis communication management
? Ability to develop and implement both strategic programs and supporting tactics
? Ability to influence across the organization and work effectively with all levels of management and staff
? Ability to deliver high quality customer service and support and maintain a positive attitude internally and externally
? Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines with a sense of urgency

? Ability to effectively handle and prioritize simultaneous assignments, frequent interruptions, and details with accuracy

? Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
? Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
? Bachelor?s or graduate degree, preferably in public relations, communications or a related field, or commensurate experience
? Communications or marketing management experience in healthcare or an associated industry
? 10-15 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing or related fields
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
? Extensive experience in all aspects of developing, implementing and maintaining communication strategies to meet organizational objectives
? Thorough understanding of branding principles and tactics
? Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
? Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and with high client expectations
