We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of our Eastern Region. This is a new role that requires a dynamic and forward-thinking individual who will help take the company to the next level by driving the financial and operating growth of the East Region. This is a key leadership role at PlayNetwork and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: development of territory, sales and business development, P&L management, and management of all East Region personnel, operating and distribution channels. The goal is to ensure greater efficiency and productivity to meet company?s operational and financial goals through implementation of PlayNetwork Strategic Plan. Provide leadership to the team to accelerate rate of business growth and to meet external changes in the industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Lead and manage East Region to sell PlayNetwork products and media services to all customers/brands according to the direction of management and market potential.
?Develop business plan and implement business strategies to meet local, regional and national objectives.
?Recruit, hire and retain qualified Sales representatives. Prepare all required paperwork and administrative procedures to support hiring activities.
?Monitor progress in meeting established objectives.
?Ensure 100% account retention ? no controllable cancellations.
?Establish and attain sales and client management goals. Identify opportunities to improve existing business and new business development.
?Coordinate and interface with corporate office to ensure business process and culture are cascaded according to management expectations.
?Facilitate team interactions with Creative Services, Engineered Systems, Customer Service, Operations, Human Resources, and Finance to ensure delivery and internal/external customer satisfaction.
?Ensure optimum coverage of all customers and potential customers.
?Provide training, coaching, follow-up and development of team in all phases of their work including career development.
?Ensure that team members understand marketing strategies and thoroughly communicate product information.
?Plan and conduct team meetings and one on one meeting?s to inform, train, and motivate direct reports.
?Analyze and implement operational efficiencies in relation to customer objectives to increase margin growth within regional account base.
?Keep current on relevant matters including market trends, competitors, company business,policy and procedures.
?Provide accurate reporting and forecasting of activity and revenue for the regional account base. Such reporting includes assuring consistent updates to the Salesforce.com CRM system.
?Manage regional travel and other expenses to ?meet or exceed established goals.
?Manage regional Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) ,- assure timely payments by accounts.
?Analyze and manage all aspects of a Regional P&L to assure profitability.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Education and Training:
?Minimum 10 years enterprise sales
?8+ years direct Sales Management
?Experience in music and media industry is strongly preferred
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
?Consistent performance record of exceeding established objectives.
?Expert knowledge of regional, territory and organization analysis.
?Excellent understanding of, and response to, the changing selling environment.
?Strong communication, coaching and presentation skills.
?Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
?Good interpersonal abilities.
?Strong PC skills
