Coordinate the efforts of contributing accounting staff level personnel during the compilation and analysis of financial statements.
Manage the process of compilation, editing and delivery of monthly internal executive package as well as quarterly and annual SEC reports including first draft of documents in the event the company successfully completes an initial public offering.
Support the financial data requirements of the Investor Relations function.
Participate in integration of acquisitions to ensure appropriate business combination accounting and compliance with US GAAP.
Ensure that global finance group is kept abreast of changes in US GAAP and have adequate resources to identify differences between US GAAP and local accounting practices.
Monitor changes in accounting standards for impact on Company policies.
Take a significant role in the implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
Perform accounting research on an ad hoc basis as issues arise.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA is required.
Annual continuing education commensurate with CPA requirements in the areas of financial reporting and accounting.
Minimum 5 years? experience of general ledger accounting, management of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, payroll processing, balance sheet reconciliations and fiscal period closing processes.
Proficient in NetSuite and other financial applications.
Experience with GAAP software revenue recognition and excellent understanding of cash flow management.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Must work collaboratively and possess a strong work ethic.
Strong business acumen, judgment/decision making, and a self-starter.
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.
Manage the preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting inclusive of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports for internal and external use in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Provide leadership and oversee staff that performs general accounting, sub-ledger accounting and payroll processing.?
Support annual financial statement audits and coordinate the preparation of audit reports and supporting schedules.
Direct and coordinate the preparation and filing of all tax returns.? Ensure compliance with all federal and state income tax requirements.
Oversee the corporate stock transactions with overview of the maintenance of the company equity tables.
Supervise and develop a team of accounting staff.
Develop, implement, monitor and improve accounting policies, procedures, controls, and financial reporting systems to assure proper internal business controls.?
Assist with general administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned.
MINIMUM ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system/financial applications.
Must have excellent organizational skills.

SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY:
This position is a management professional position. Responsibilities and decision making duties are performed with minimal supervision from the Functional Manager. Decisions regarding changes in company policy or procedure must be deferred to supervisor, although recommendations may be made.
