The Director of Field Marketing is responsible for driving revenue by championing and leading overall field marketing strategy including sales support and lead generation programs. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for local market leaders and will manage a newly created team of sales development reps focused on lead qualification/nurturing as well as regional marketing professionals executing campaign activities, events and sales support programs. He/she will also work in tandem with our national sales team to build programs with the goal of extending the Peak 10 brand and product offerings into new markets.
Collaborate with marketing management team as well as company leadership to develop strategic marketing initiatives to support business objectives across Peak 10 core markets; tailor programs to market needs.
Engage with sales teams to align marketing programs with sales strategies and business goals.
Review and analyze market research and data to determine market strategy for specific markets and their programs
Direct local programs that drive acquisition and/or help support product launch programs
Direct and train regional marketing team on new marketing strategies and initiatives.
Direct and train sales development team to qualify, nurture and traffic leads to sales and account management teams.
Oversee process and accountability for use of marketing automation tool and CRM to track, develop and close leads.
Capture and communicate analytics regarding lead development activities.
Generally support the success of the sales force through defined training programs, collateral, or other tactical programs, in partnership with the product management team.
Support business partner joint (co-op) marketing campaigns in local markets.
Partner with business leaders to integrate marketing programs and manage marketing investments wisely.
Support channel and partner development activities in market.
Serve as primary marketing contact to regional marketing teams when executing new programs and tracking performance.
Track marketing program performance, recommend areas of improvement & provide solutions, and provide recommendation to improve business process and in-market performance.
Provide feedback, guidance and development to help the marketing team excel in their current and future program rollouts.
Lead multi-functional teams to ensure successful in-market implementation of marketing program
Supervise at least six direct reports.
Represent the company outside of the office at external events.
Manage relationship with external resources, including agency partners
Provide guidance to help the marketing team excel in their current and future program rollouts
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus.
At least 7 years? experience in B2B acquisition-oriented marketing
Three years? experience managing people. Five years preferred.
Demonstrated sales experience; experience in inside sales a plus.
Experience managing acquisition and brand-focused marketing programs across multiple channels
Excellent understanding and knowledge of selling strategies
Experience in lead development activities and marketing/lead generation analytics
Product marketing knowledge
Excellent writing and editing skills
Ability to multi-task/prioritize a broad range of projects
Proven ability to develop partnerships and collaborate across functions and business divisions
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, marketing automation tools such as Marketo or Hubspot, and CRM systems.
Excellent interpersonal communications and team building skills at an executive level
Must be self-directed with an instinct to sense potential issues and resolve them early.
Sense of urgency and strong work ethic
Some travel required (20%)
