We?re hiring a Director of Product Management, New Initiatives. With a primary focus on Entertainment, you will work with the leadership of the division to deliver a world-class platform for event producers and an innovative event buying experience for LivingSocial members.
It?s a big job, and an important one to LivingSocial. We?re not saying it?s going to be easy. But if you?d enjoy the challenge of building a suite of differentiated products that forever change the way events are produced and distributed, this just might be the opportunity you?d been hoping for.
? Work with senior leadership to define product strategy, roadmap, and milestones
? Write product specifications, and collaborate with engineering and design to build and ship high quality enhancements across web, mobile, and tablet devices
? Leverage data to test efficacy of - and improve upon - launched product initiatives
? Collect and convert qualitative user feedback into actionable product enhancements
? Lead cross-functional team in overall product development process
? Define methods for quantifying success (or failure) and ensure that the team has a clear ability to understand and articulate its objectives
? Manage/mentor cross-functional team members
? 7+ years of product experience in web and/or mobile applications
? BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical fields, or equivalent experience
? Experience in consumer facing eCommerce websites with an established track record of bringing products to market
? Ability to process and analyze complex data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Passion for solving problems creatively, thinking big, starting small and moving fast
? Excellent people skills with proven track record of success interacting with colleagues in cross-functional teams
? Experience in entertainment or event production
? Experience integrating with social platforms
? Prior experience in a startup
