We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance who is passionate about delivering the highest quality products and services to our customers. You will be responsible for developing best-in-class quality assurance standards, guidelines and policies for all Balihoo software and services. You will lead QA engineers and analysts to ensure that the work we deploy meets the set standards and is free of bugs and defects.

The Director of Quality Assurance will have strong project management, leadership, and problem solving skills. Candidates with advanced problem solving experience using root cause analysis and six sigma techniques are strongly preferred. Preference will be given to individuals who have demonstrated abilities improving quality systems in a growth environment.
Develop, document and execute best in class quality standards, policies and procedures for all Balihoo software and services
Coordinate with product management to ensure that QA standards are established as requirements during product planning.
Work with the engineering team to build and execute processes and controls to ensure that our software is released without bugs or defects.
Work with project managers during project implementations to embed QA standards, oversight and accountability into the project plan.
Work with systems engineers to define and execute regular contingency and failover testing.
Work with customer support and account management teams to establish processes for managing and escalating customer complaints and help tickets.
Recruit and maintain a strong QA team capable of executing the established plan.
Drive performance and accountability of your team using meaningful metrics and reports that result in consistently raising the bar.
Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
Ability to work cross-functionally with executive management, operations team, technology, finance, and marketing teams
Minimum 8 years Quality Assurance experience.
Minimum 4 years supervisory/management experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Systems and experience with new product introduction process.
Experience working with and configuring Jira or comparable bug tracking systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to function in a high pressure production support environment and make informed real-time decisions based on business priorities and implications.
