As the Director of Sales, you?ll work regularly with account execs and assist with their deals. You?ll coach and train your team, participate on calls, and negotiate contracts. In addition, you?ll drive your team to build a successful book of business by managing territory reviews, forecasting, and taking on strategic account planning and analysis. Responsibilities: What will I do?
Work directly with account execs in client meetings to help close new business as well as ensure client satisfaction and future opportunities for growth
Drive weekly pipeline reviews with account execs to monitor activity and help strategize for success
Collaborate with current sales leadership and eStaff to ensure sales targets support Spiceworks? company goals
Forecast weekly deal pipeline to VP of Sales
Provide regular coaching and training opportunities in an effort to help your sales team hone their skills and media industry knowledge
Help recruit and develop a high impact sales team
Qualifications: What does it take to do this job?
10+ years of experience leading successful sales teams, preferably in the tech space
Experience and knowledge in media product sales
Proven ability to manage and drive the success of individual account execs in an effort to achieve company sales objectives
Effective strategic analysis skills
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
