Email Marketing Specialist
This position will support the daily execution of marketing and trigger emails with a focus on customer retention and segmentation. The Email Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of a comprehensive customer lifecycle calendar to ensure all email communications are optimized for both content and audience on a daily basis, keeping track of key email metrics, deriving insights from results and sharing recommendations with the broader SailPoint Team.
Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly calendar of marketing and triggered emails, focusing on customer segmentation, touch point prioritization, and lifecycle management.
Work with broader marketing analytics and database teams to enhance and streamline email segmentation and data flow.
Support the management of the email process workflow including planning email calendar, ensuring timely completion of creative briefs, collaborating with internal teams on content, obtaining timely approvals, and running QA to test email assets.
Track key email metrics by various segments, establishing benchmarks for each. Work closely with the broader email team to analyze findings, identify trends and recommend a course of action.
Participate in the cross-flow of results and best practices with the broader marketing team in a timely and actionable format
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and a solid understanding of email marketing and metrics as a critical skillset as well as the ability to project manage several deliverables. Key requirements for this role include:
Bachelor?s degree and 2-3 years of experience, preferably in email marketing.
Prior experience in managing a daily email campaign and reporting on results is preferable.
The ability to synthesize large amounts of data into key insights in a timely fashion and communicate results in an organized and concise way.
High comfort level with advanced Excel. Fluency in Word and PowerPoint preferred.
Experience with Salesforce.com and marketing automation technology are key.
Basic knowledge of HTML necessary.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a corporate work environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.
Careful attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines. The right candidate will be able to juggle several, sometimes conflicting, deadlines.
Must be detail-oriented, a perfectionist and a grammar fanatic.
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This position will be based in Austin, Texas.
2-3 years Previous marketing experience is required in an associate marketing, PR, Marcom, tradeshow management or other equivalent role
BS or BA in marketing, communication, or related area of study required
