The candidate will work within a global events team in all aspects of the event planning process for trade, industry, partner and customer events. The candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines and coordinate with counterparts internationally to ensure consistency and quality across the Autotask experience and brand.
Execute logistics that support defined strategies for events that optimize thought leadership, awareness, lead generation and community building activities
Specific tasks will include scheduling, purchasing, shipping and reporting
Coordinate event activities between marketing, sales and management
Operate in a collaborate and creative mindset to continually improve processes and communications
Document event deliverables and due dates and coordinate with marketing staff to ensure completion
Order exhibitor services based on standard guidelines and follow through on receipt
Coordinate team hotel bookings to maximize group discounts (does not include flight reservations)
Maintain inventory of tradeshow equipment and supplies
Work with design staff to produce signage and other print collateral for events
Review and measure event effectiveness and ensure follow through with lead processing
Communicating with numerous kinds of people and personalities via telephone, email and face-to-face interaction
Research new events in targeted segments
Employees may be required to perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Exceptionally organized, detail and deadline-driven
Motivated, high energy individual who will thrive in a high-growth, high-visibility position
Outgoing, comfortable working with different personalities and all levels of staff
Excellent writing and communication skills, both written and verbal
Microsoft Office skills required
Advanced computer software skills are a plus
Prior event experience or and/or success in other high volume environment
Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time.
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experiance
