We help homeowners replace electricity they would otherwise purchase from the utility company with clean, attractively priced energy produced by a solar system that Sunrun owns and operates. We go to market primarily via channel partners and work with the leading players in the home solar ecosystem. Sunrun is looking for energetic, quota-driven salespeople to pioneer the role of Field Sales Consultant.
Sunrun?s Field Sales Consultants will have a significant impact on Sunrun?s monthly sales performance, working with our partners to acquire new customers, improve the performance of our partners? sales forces, and maximize the customer purchasing experience in our retail sales outlets. The Field Sales Consultant will report directly to the Regional Sales Director and will work closely with Regional Market Managers and Sunrun?s Education Department.
Go on home sales visits with our partners? salespeople to close new business.
Coach our partners? sales force to master the delivery of Sunrun?s value proposition and competitive positioning.
Work with Sunrun?s Regional Market Managers to customize and deliver Sunrun Education Programs for each Sunrun Partner.
Provide Sunrun?s and our Partner?s Sales Management Team with reports, analysis and recommendations to continuously improve the performance of our partners? sales forces.
Visit Sunrun?s retail sales outlets to support Sunrun Retail Partnerships, evaluate in-store setups, and drive improvements to customer experience.
Qualifications & Requirements (Sunrun East):
5 Years Outside Sales Related Experience
Solar sales experience a plus
In-home sales experience a plus
Consumer and/or retail sales experience a plus
75-80% travel within defined region (see below for current FSC Territories Available)
Positions based in defined region
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization with indirect accountability to multiple stakeholders.
Experience with SFDC desired.
