THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We are looking for a Field Service Coordinator (Req# 306) to join our Global Customer Care team. This position is responsible for the planning and scheduling of technical site visits to our customers. The Field Service Coordinator (FSC) will be the point of contact to the customer/distributor to schedule on-site field visits, confirm dates and shipments of systems, parts and tools. In addition, once systems and parts have been shipped, the FSC will coordinate installation and work timelines to fit customer needs. This will require extensive coordination with Service Management to determine resource availability to ensure field services are effective and will meet the expectations and requirements of the customers.
The FSC is also responsible for entering and maintaining correspondence, data, images and Technical Service Reports for every customer into the Great Plains database.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify/resolve problems, and document the outcome
3 plus years of related experience in customer service
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required, experience in the medical device, bio or healthcare industries is ideal
Superior customer service ability
Excellent communication (oral and written) skills; ability to communicate with all customers and all levels in the organization
Schedule site visits with customer/distributor
Open and maintain GP Service Call per site and/or event with proper coding, inputs, updates and Technical Service Report (TSR)
Ship correct parts for Technical Services site visit
Coordinate shipments with Shipping Department and/or freight carrier
Update schedule with all events: new installations, upgrades, scheduled preventative maintenance, emergency requests
Coordinate return shipment of parts back to OptiMedica
Solid computer skills with software applications proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Great Plains
Strong data entry skills
Associates degree in business or related field, Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience
