? Build, lead and inspire a team encompassing all aspects of game and portal development on Facebook and mobile.
? Design and articulate an overarching vision and strategy for the studio that aligns with GSN?s gaming strategy and business goals.
? Work with Design, Development and Production to drive the game and portal strategy, roadmap, design and production.
? Oversee the live operations and optimizations of our products to maximize ROI
? Integral in the recruitment of the best talent across the studio.
? Cultivate and shepard the unique culture across the organization.
? Coordinate and lead efforts across other GSN teams, including Marketing, Finance, Business Development, Legal and HR.
? Secure buy-in from GSN senior management.
? Remain current on industry knowledge of competitors, games and market trends.
? Be a GSN ?evangelist?. Attend and speak at industry conferences and events.
The General Manager will be a strategic executive with proven experience leading cross-functional game development teams. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to build, manage and inspire a world-class game studio to truly develop ?Best in Class? social games and portals. In addition, the General Manager should have:
? A minimum of 8+ years of product development experience in social, mobile and/or casual free-to-play online games.
? Demonstrable passion for driving high quality and engaging user experiences.
? Proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional disciplines.
? Data-driven approach to decision making.
? Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly iterating environment.
? Advanced people/team management and leadership skills.
? Demonstrated ability to manage teams through organizational change.
? Prior experience in web and mobile technologies and services.
? Well-developed written and verbal communications skills, including presentation skills.
? An outstanding work ethic, high-integrity, team player attitude.
