We are currently seeking a motivated Jr. Graphic Designer who can jump into a fast-paced environment and take on marketing- and sales-driven creative projects. As part of Fieldglass? in-house marketing team, this individual will design visually interesting graphics and brand compliant pieces across print, web, email and social/blog. With direction from the Creative & Marketing Manager, the graphic designer will work with project owners on the marketing team to produce various creative materials.
This is a contract to full time hire position onsite at the Chicago headquarters.
Design, layout and produce new creative using established templates/branding for materials such as: content collateral (datasheets, case studies, eBooks), event signage and print pieces, Word and PowerPoint templates and presentations, website graphics and banners, HTML emails and various graphics.
Work with sales and account management team to turn copy-heavy slides into visual stories and client-facing presentations.
Interact with subject matter experts to develop visuals that assist with explaining concepts and or telling a story.
Design engaging graphics and infographics to support posts on our company?s website, social platforms and blog.
Design assets for newsletters and email campaigns.
Manage contacts and work with print vendors as necessary to ensure quality, timely and cost-effective production.
Ensure existing collateral and marketing materials are up to date.
Organize and maintain marketing and design files in various marketing systems.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines from concept through completion.
Provide graphic support and brand guidance within company.
We?re Looking For:
Bachelor?s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or equivalent experience required
1-2 years of design experience in either an agency or corporate environment Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visuals and clearly communicate creative concepts
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver, FinalCutPro (a plus, not required)
Fluent in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Knowledge of HTML and CSS as they relate to web design
Web design and multimedia experience a plus
Ability to take direction from multiple project managers, prioritize projects, and ensure completion by deadlines
Must be able to learn the brand identity and design accordingly
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Strong work ethic, exceptional project management, attention to detail and organizational skills
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Portfolio that demonstrates strong elements in design, layout, typography and brand
Experience working with print shops and pre-press activities preferred
