We are looking for an experienced Electronic Technician to support Hardware Engineering and Operations. As a Getaround Hardware Lab Technician, you will be responsible for electronic and mechanical builds, debug and repair of prototypes. You will support Hardware Engineering and Operations Team.You will be part of a small team assembling and testing our next generation hardware device that enables in-cartelematics and control. Our hardware is enabling a new experience for seamless car sharing using smartphones.

What you will be doing:
Final Assembly, Test and Troubleshooting electronic subsystems.
Construct, bring-up, debug and rework prototype SMT and PTH printed circuit board assemblies.
Build wire harnesses and cables.
Design, implement and debug test fixtures.
Maintain stock of electronic parts and lab supplies.
Coordinating Electronic Contract Manufacturing builds.
Assist with regulatory testing.
AS or BS degree in electronics technology or electrical engineering.
Minimum 3 years experience in electronics environment or contract manufacturiing.
Excellent soldering and electronics fabrication skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills to the component level on electronic modules.
Pride in quality and craftsmanship.
Skill using multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies.
Basic computer knowledge.
Self-driven and ability to work independently.
Willingness to work hard and flexible on work schedule.
Knowledge of Vehicle electronics.
Mechanical CAD and fabrication skills.
Experience with network protocols: CAN, I2C, Wifi, Bluetooth etc.
Experience with microprocessor software development.
