RedBrick Health is looking for an insightful and strategic content strategist who can provide both content leadership and excellent writing skills for our industry-leading, rule-breaking health and wellness products. We are looking for a strategist with a passion for user experience, a deep knowledge of health behavior change theory and practice and a creative thinker who knows the mechanics of user interface. We need someone with a collaborative bent who can help lead the development of products and services that inspire people to make leaps of personal change toward better health.
Essential Job Functions
Drive content that balances user needs, business objectives and product knowledge to create transformative user experiences.
Contribute expertise in the field of health and wellness to multi-disciplinary teams responsible for building breakthrough products.
Provide innovative ideas for structuring content while paying attention to the vision of marketing managers, product managers and UX designers.
Provide project management leadership, tracking the many moving parts of content development while rallying needed resources from copywriting to visual design. Collaborate across digital disciplines on the design of user flows and wireframes.
Dig into the not-always-glamorous sides of content for versioning, documentation and metadata that drives how our content is experienced.
Have the ability to write copy that moves people to live healthier lives while engaging?and even delighting?specific audience segments.
Review content for ways to make it even crisper and more compelling than before?and aligned with the best health evidence.
Assist in analyzing content performance to understand user behavior and push toward continuous content improvement.
Craft UI content that guides users, including instructional text, error and confirmation messages, taxonomy and nomenclature.
Essential Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor?s degree in marketing, communication, psychology, health education/promotion or related fields preferred.
Passion for creating great user experiences with actionable knowledge of the digital landscape including current industry and user trends.
Experience in creating and executing on a content strategy with demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.
Understanding of interaction design and information architecture ? especially as they drive to content strategy.
Diverse portfolio of work to demonstrate unusually excellent UX content strategy and/or health writing.
7+ years of experience writing and/or managing interactive content?especially helpful is experience across modalities including web and mobile.
Experience shepherding content through the Agile development process a plus.
Experience developing health-related content that inspires long-term behavior change.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Bright, hard-working, flexible, dedicated, and team-focused self-starter.
