-Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)
-Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
-Cisco CCENT ? basic networking
Customer Service Skills
-Requires minimum 1-3 years customer service background and experience.
-Requires 1-2 years call center experience.
-Listens to the customer and enters issues into the ticketing system.
-Asks appropriate questions to determine the true nature of the problem.
-Must be pleasant, professional and articulate.
-Shows empathy to the customer and their issues.
-Ability to demonstrate problem-solving methodology.
OS & Application Support
-Demonstrated proficiency with Windows XP, Vista, Win7.
-Proficiency at an intermediate level with MS Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
-Familiarity with the basics of Mac OS
-Can demonstrate troubleshooting methodology for Windows, Mac, and application related issues.
-Listens to others and accepts input from team members.
-Clearly articulate ideas and thoughts verbally.
-Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional.
