The Telerik team is growing and we are currently looking for a Help Desk Officer to join our team in Waltham, MA. This person will work closely with Telerik?s System Administration team in ensuring quality help desk support and safeguarding the proper day to day computer operation of Telerik?s internal users. As a Help Desk Officer, you will have the opportunity to actively collaborate on innovative projects with a team of exceptional professionals. You will be expected to locally synchronize system administration efforts across all Telerik office locations. Your main responsibility will be to diagnose complex technical problems and propose quick and reliable resolutions in order to ensure the smooth operation of the Waltham, MA office computer infrastructure.

? Quickly become familiar with Telerik?s office computer infrastructure as well as system administration policies and procedures
? Provide technical support and assistance to all Telerik employees in the Waltham, MA office
? Work in close cooperation with all system administration team members and help desk officers across all Telerik office locations
? Identify, install and manage the hardware and software needed to provide solutions to all company needs
? Provide face-to-face, online support and assistance to Telerik employees
? Diagnosis and repair of PC related problems in a Microsoft environment
? Coordinate efforts with Telerik employees and the System Administration team to isolate and resolve hardware/software related problems
You will be the person who has (a/an):
? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
? One year of professional experience as a help desk officer or similar position
? A comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and software
? Good Windows System Administration and Troubleshooting knowledge
? Good Networking knowledge ? TCP/IP settings, IP logical addressing, DNS, DHCP
? Holding Microsoft or Cisco certification would be considered an advantage
? Strong communication skills
? Exceptional ability to learn new skills and work independently with limited supervision
? Down-to-earth and friendly personality
