Hot Test Performance Engineer Cambric
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Job Description / Responsibilities:
This person is responsible for supporting engine performance at hot test for current production engines and New Production Introduction (NPI) engines for the Large Power Systems Growth Markets Division. The candidate will monitor engine test setup and execution and will be responsible for setting, running and analyzing CANape engine controller data and will use other computer diagnostic tools, as needed, to confirm proper engine setup as well as diagnosing engine problems. The results from each standard production hot test and lug curve documentation are to be comprehensively documented to support assessing the quality of each rating development as well as to support the NPI team?s Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) documentation. Coordination will be required with other departments such as the Operations team, the Core Engineering team, and the application teams. Resolving problems with any engine(s) is a critical requirement of this position.
Background in engine development and performance analysis.
Prior hands-on diesel and gas engine performance and test cell experience.
Previous experience in scheduling and leading engineering meetings with outside suppliers and internal engineering managers.
Background in coordinating engineering projects and change work to engineering suppliers.
Proficient with MS Office and CANape software experience.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience working on mechanical and electronic diesel engines is desirable along with demonstrated ability to do performance analyses. NPI experience
