Implementation Specialist NovaSom

Support the NovaSom Sales and Marketing Team in managing program implementations with new and existing customers, promoting a positive customer experience and ensuring a seamless transition from relationship initiation to day-to-day operations. This role is geared towards both the development and execution of efficient and effective implementation processes and requires the ability to work cross-functionally both within the organization and with clients. Effectively communicating with clients to gain an understanding of their existing business processes and needs is key.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following duties:
Partner with the Sales Team to help nurture new customer relationships and move them towards implementation.
Initiate the contract loading process, maintaining all documentation and associated correspondence, to ensure that key contract terms are well documented, loaded into NovaSom's systems appropriately and communicated to matrix partners.
Guide customers towards an implementation approach that fits both their environment and NovaSom's needs
Coordinate and execute all steps required in the implementation process
Develop implementation plans and reports, monitoring and communicating status to both client and NovaSom parties
Meet and exceed implementation process milestones and goals
Assist and/or lead the development of implementation and support tools and documentation
Maintain implementation process documentation
Assist in the development of end-user training on NovaSom's web-based portal and process support tools with the goal of customer self-service where appropriate
Deliver and track customer training and in-service sessions through a variety of mechanisms
Interface with Technical Development, Sales, and Operations staff to manage any process or technical issues that may affect the customer as they move from implementation to full production
Ability to travel to U.S-based customer sites; approximately 30% travel should be expected.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Five to seven years of experience in project/program management required.
Experience with implementation of software/web-based solutions a plus.
Healthcare experience preferred; specifically experience interfacing with provider groups, hospitals, facilities, etc.
Business process improvement skills required.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to quickly grasp new concepts and understand/communicate the big picture
Organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage and serve as champion for multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and leverage partners to resolve issues
Strong presentation skills required; must be experienced and comfortable in delivering training, facilitating project meetings, and presenting to clients about NovaSom's programs and services.
Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and urgency, ability to work independently and in a team setting involving multiple departments, partners and business processes
Demonstrated negotiation, persuasion and conflict management skills
Experience with managing online customer tools/solutions preferred.
Salesforce.com experience helpful.
Must be experienced in creating professional documentation appropriate for an external audience
Must be comfortable and effective in using technology to support client meetings and training sessions (webinars, conference calls, etc.)
Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge of the following is required, to assist in report management, data analysis, process-mapping/improvement and presentation of information:
Bachelor?s degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent experience.
