Develop recruiting plans for IT departments within the organization by working with each hiring manager.
Create or modify existing job descriptions.
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting including social media, LinkedIn, professional trade groups and organizations.
Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need by maintaining regular contact with possible candidates.
Post and manage open positions on the company website, job boards and with external recruiting agencies.
Develop and execute recruiting plans for local colleges and universities.
Build a business relationship with the colleges and attend college fairs and other recruiting events.
Perform screening and shortening of the candidates before submitting to the hiring manager.
Organize interview schedules and interview candidates onsite.
Assist in preparing offers and rejection letters.
Assist in recommending, sourcing and deploying an Application Tracking system
College degree is a must
Minimum of 2 years experience with hiring IT professionals
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
Ability to negotiate offers and maintain confidential information
Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
