Inside Channel Account Manager position focused on leading SafeNet brand penetration and partner enablement with Silver & Gold Resellers within their geographic region. This key individual will generate incremental revenue opportunities through a constant focus on lead generation and partner enablement activities, and will work closely with distribution sales force, to drive incremental business for these key partners. SafeNet is committed to its? channel strategy and is seeking a qualified candidate that can immediately contribute to the growth and development of our growing Silver & Gold Partner base, within a given territory
Education: Four Year college degree (B.A / B.S.).
3+ years of inside and outside channel sales experience
5 years plus Channel sales experience in developing and implementing channel strategic plans and initiatives, 2 years of related experience in a security, networking or infrastructure company preferably within a two tier distribution environment.
Proven experience managing DMR?s and Regional Resellers, with a strong Partner Management/Sales Operations background at a National Reseller/Distributor preferred.
The ability to work closely and effectively with the outside sales force, Inside Territory Managers, Sales Operations, and to lead marketing, lead generation and mapping activities with those teams and assigned Silver & Gold Resellers
Proven experience in a strategic channel overlay/partner development role with strong lead-generation focus
Proven experience in the network technology or security solutions arena
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Partner Management/Recruitment: Manage and mentor key strategic resellers within the territory, as well as focus on further enabling Silver & Gold partners specialized in SMB/MM space
Channel Operations: Support day to day operational needs of the partners, assist with quoting, etc.
Marketing: Drive marketing and co-marketing opportunities (lunch-n-learns, seminars, webinars, trade shows) with key partners
Partner Training: Work with Distribution and Inside SEs to assess/deliver training to add incremental growth to key and newly developing partners.
